Pergola Installation Guide
This guide is designed to help you confidently assemble your Rustic Dreams pergola from start to finish. Whether you're a first-time builder or a seasoned DIY enthusiast, we’ll walk you through each step, from unpacking the components to securing the final touch.

Step 1
Begin by unpacking all parts and laying them flat on the ground in the approximate position they’ll be assembled. This includes the upright posts, top beams, side beams, and any braces and fixings.
This helps ensure you have everything needed and gives a visual of where each part will go.

Step 2
Start by setting up the first two vertical posts. Attach the horizontal top beam across them. Use temporary support braces to keep the structure stable.
Repeat the process for the opposite side of the pergola, fixing the remaining two upright posts and another top beam. Again, use support braces to hold everything steady.

Step 3
Next, connect the two freestanding frames by attaching the side beams across the top. These horizontal beams will span the length of the structure, joining both ends together to form the complete rectangular frame of your pergola. Carefully lift each beam into place, ensuring it fits securely into the designated notches.
It’s a good idea to have someone assist with this step, as holding the beams steady while securing them can be challenging on your own.
Once all side beams are in place, the main frame of your pergola will be fully formed and ready for the next stage of the build.

Step 4
Now that the main frame is in place, you’re ready to begin attaching the horizontal top beams. These beams are designed to slot easily over the top frame, sitting securely in the cut-outs provided.
To fix each top beam, use two 150mm screws, one at each end, to firmly secure it to the frame.
Once all the top beams are installed and secured, it’s time to fit the braces.
Each brace should be attached using two 80mm screws, position the brace diagonally between the upright posts and top beams, then fix it in place with the screws provided.
